Cladding

This is the first project in Thailand using GRC directly attached to unitized curtain wall to allow efficient installation. GRC (Thailand) is proud to introduce this granitized surface protected by Guard hydrophobic coating on dark gray color for this project.

Design

surface protected by Guard hydrophobic coating on dark grey color for this project.

This project showed that the concrete finish is not only possible but attractive and durable for cladding use. The natural concrete finish will also have less problem in the future when compared with natural stone/tile cladding and painting.

Installation

The power of dust. We have notice that the panel change color after installation in only a few days. But the decolorization is not patchy and it should not be a concern of efflorescence. When we wash the panel with water, it is not hard to immediately realize the heavy dust in a construction
site and the way the panel is stored result in a large quantity of dust adhered
to the coarse aggregate surface of the GRC panel. It is also note that the light reflection of the reflective glass also affect the light reflection of the GRC.

With the high production capacity of up to 1000sq.m per day, GRC (Thailand) effortlessly added this additional work to the project and completed from mould making to installation within 30 days.
